Vintage 1970s does 1940s peignoir set by Peony of Shanghai, China made of pure snow-white silk with a very high luster creating an ethereal glisten in the light. The peignoir robe and nightgown are both bias cut with elaborate rose embroidery across the bodice, with scalloped edges and French knots throughout. The robe is an open fit with wide angel sleeves and a fitted waist, closing with fabric-covered buttons to accentuate the waist. The nightgown is sleeveless with a very deep V cut back. A stunning lingerie set perfect for a bridal trousseau!

CONDITION :

Excellent: no holes, rips, or stains. Very faint yellowing at the top of one strap on the nightgown, too faint to show up on pictures.
