Do you clean and sanitize these intimate items before shipping?

I absolutely do if I am confident that I have the capacity to do so without causing damage. I will treat stains and hand wash or dry clean all items post 1930, and select items from earlier decades (such as sturdy items made of cotton or rayon).

Items that are very old or delicate will not be laundered prior to shipment. These would include some silk, crepe, or velvet items. These items may require specialized cleaning, and I do not want to risk damaging them by cleaning them myself.

Deadstock items will also be shipped without laundering so that I do not damage the original tags.

How are orders processed & when can I expect you to ship my items?

All vintage items are inspected one last time prior to packaging.
I ship within 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday) after purchase. Please let me know if you need your order shipped immediately and I will do my very best to accommodate.

Can I request a different method of shipping? What about insurance?

All U.S. orders are shipped either First Class or Priority (if over one pound). If additional insurance is desired, please request it as it is relatively inexpensive.

*Any expedited shipping upgrades may be requested at the buyer's expense.

I will add tracking information for all orders, but please advise that Daggers & Dames is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Layaway via PayPal is available for items over $100. Please see the terms below:

The first payment must equal at least 25% of the listed price. The 25% will be a deposit and is non-refundable. Invoices will be sent via Paypal, so the buyer must provide an email address and zip code, which will ONLY be used for this purpose. Buyer has 30 calendar days from initial payment to pay for the item in full.

If the item is not paid in full within the above stated time frame the buyer will refunded all amounts paid less the 25% deposit, and the item will be relisted. Please keep open communication if something comes up.

*Sale items, free shipping, and promotions are not applicable to layaway.

International orders & Customs fees

All international orders over $150 are shipped standard mail at my expense.

Any expedited shipping upgrades or insurance may be requested at the buyer's expense at checkout.

Buyers are responsible for any and all customs fees. I will never lower the actual value, nor will I ever mark an order as a gift. This is illegal, so please do not ask.
