This 1970s kimono robe is a classic 70's does 40's tribute mimicking the elder Japanese kimono styles. Very flattering and slinky in fit, made of rich light sky and turquoise blue polyester satin. Gorgeous, bountiful wisteria floral print over the shoulders and sleeves, with bouquets adorning the lower skirt above the hem. This pretty dressing gown has a long skirt falling to the ankle, with a loose shoulder and traditional long open kimono sleeves to add grace to the wearer. Unlined and light in weight allowing the fabric to drape over the figure. Can be worn open as a duster jacket showing its elaborate back or worn closed as a robe with the sash tie. A very glamorous and fun vintage style.

CONDITION - Excellent: no holes, stains or rips. There are some pricks in the fabric due to age, and there appears to be a darker spot on the bottom of the skirt in the back but I can only get it to show when I tilt it in the light.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
