This vintage 1960s peignoir set by Miss Elaine is ultra fluffy and perfect for the pinup boudoir. Made from sheer tangerine orange nylon chiffon with a light yellow under layer which gives a great ombre-like appearance. The set features honeycomb smocking across the chest giving a stunning diamond texture and a bit of stretch. The robe closes at the center chest with buttons and a bow, with large princess puff sleeves and a lovely open fit. The babydoll nightgown is nice and loose, with puffed cap sleeves and a sweet open waist and hip. A darling little lingerie set!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
