This 1960s peignoir set is a very sweet design made by Miss Elaine. A darling nightgown and robe made of sheer creamy white nylon chiffon. The robe features a lace shoulder with very slightly belled 3/4 sleeves, with a lush ruffled lace collar and center chest closure hiding under a sweet little bow. Open through the front, showing the nightgown below. The sleeveless babydoll style gown has a matching lace chest with a loose fit and lovely wide sweep. Both pieces have a wide ruffled hemline falling well above the knee giving the classic, ultra feminine 'innocent' look of the early 60's. Very flirty, and perfect for the classic pinup enthusiast.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
