This vintage 1960s nightgown and peignoir set by Molyclaire was made from three layers of nylon chiffon in shades of tangerine, fuchsia, and yellow which produce an absolutely stunning multi-tonal illusion of color. This set is extra, extra fluffy due to the enormous sweeps, with the robe featuring very wide bell shaped sleeves that only add to the drama. The nightgown is a trapeze style with a wide taper that extends to the ankle that looks amazing peeping through the split robe. Both pieces are nicely adorned with braided fabric around the neckline, which closes into a bow at the neck of the robe. An absolutely luscious set from the brands limited collection.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
