This vintage early 1960s nightgown by Lucite was made from a silky opaque pale blue and ivory ombre nylon material. The bodice was made from a sheer two-tone chiffon with a gorgeous overlap feature that flatters the chest nicely. Sweet little bows wide wide straps create a very feminine allure. Nipped at the waist with a long chiffon tie that pulls the gown together perfectly. An ankle length skirt hemmed in a sheer deep blue chiffon that complements the bust. A darling little gown.
Label: Lucite
Era: 1950s-1960s
Material: Nylon
Color: Pale blue, ivory, cornflower blue
Size: Small, medium (please see measurements)
Condition: Hand washed and steamed. Some pulls consistent with age. A violet patina at the tops of the shoulders. Ivory ombre effect is richer in some areas, lighter in others.
Measurements:
• Taken seam to seam laying flat, relaxed, then doubled
• Maximum stretch given for comfort without applying stress to seams
Bust: 34-36”
Waist: 27-30"
Hips: up to 54"
Length: 56” from shoulder to hem
Fit Notes: Fitted in the bodice, sweetheart neckline offers décolletage and flatters the chest. Nipped at the waist, gathered fabric directly above the hip bone creates curves and an illusion of a smaller waist. Skirt is not form fitting so slims the hip area.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
