This darling 1960s trapeze dress is a royal shade of blue with light blue and green swirls, kind of resembling the colors of the ocean. A silk chiffon upper layer covering a blue taffeta shell with a rear zipper closure. This dress has a wider neck with a reversed Peter Pan collar for a little pizzazz! Sleeveless and falling down to about mid thigh, with a very wide sweep for lots o drama to your movement. It has never been worn and I believe was part of a sample sale.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
