This vintage 1960s babydoll nightgown by Capri Originals was made from a bold, bright fuchsia pink nylon with a sheer overlay that adds a gorgeous amount of body. Sleek and fitted through the waist with a skin revealing lace 'yoke' that extends from shoulder to shoulder. A perfectly prim tiered skirt falls below the knee with ruffled lace edges for added allure. Raised flower appliqués scattered at the chest and on the skirt add a beautifully feminine touch, with a long satin ribbon tie that pulls the gown together nicely. A very nice piece that truly looks like a piece of art.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
