This vintage 1950's slip was made from rich cobalt blue rayon with a high sheen and light weight for comfort. Bias cut, with adjustable straps and a lightly darted cup to give the classic silhouette. This darling little lingerie basic is slinky and sexy, with a smooth fit due to the side inserts to give a seamless appearance under your day wear. A low accordion crystal pleat hem falls below the knee providing a nice bit of modesty. A lovely staple in a very fun and lively color, great for the everyday lingerie wardrobe!

CONDITION :

Excellent: No holes, rips or tears. The pleats are not as 'relaxed' as they once were, and there is one small, faint mark that I did my best to capture in the second to last photo.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
