This 1950s shoulderette is a very sweet little shrug! Made of soft and stretchy baby blue knit, draping over the shoulders and closing at the neck with a woven satin ribbon tie. Very feminine and flattering, with a completely open front and 3/4 sleeves that puff slightly, cinching at the white striped cuff that can be worn mid-forearm or pulled up above the elbow. Absolutely darling, with a loose cape-like back falling to the waist. A very versatile little bolero style jacket that looks adorable over lingerie, but could easily be worn outside of the house over your favorite dresses and tops.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
