This vintage 1950s shelf bra by Peter Pan, inspired by the legendary Oleg Cassini, was made from silky black nylon with a chiffon outer layer. Very sexy, with scalloped edges throughout its entirety. Very lightly padded half cups that cradle only the under side of the breast giving a delightful perk and scantily clad level of 'exposure'. This bra has underwires for added support and adjustable straps, with an elastic mesh band for a comfortable fit. A very rare yet timeless style!

CONDITION :

Excellent: no holes, rips or stains. Elastic mesh retains full stretch with no chips or rusting on the hardware. The tape along the bottom has some very light curling that does not affect shape or fit at all.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
