This vintage early 1950s robe by Maxan is an extra glamorous representation of the era. Made from a gorgeous bold berry and powder pink satin stripe brocade fabric and adorned with a large rhinestone brooch at the hip. A loose drop shoulder and cuffed 3/4 sleeves compliment the gathered deeply cut neckline beautifully. Nipped at the waist with an enormous A line skirt that falls to the floor, with one section that is slightly longer at the side that adds a stunning bit of texture that truly brings this robe to life. Hidden eye-hook and button snap closure ensures that the robe stays in place when worn.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
