This vintage 1950s peignoir set by Vanity Fair was made from sheer white nylon chiffon with bountiful folds creating the perfect amount of fluff! The set features beaded honeycomb smocking across the chest, with the long puffed sleeve robe having the detail at the cuff and the nightgown at the fitted waist. Absolutely stunning, the robe adorned with a pussy bow at the neck, with an open fit closing at the center chest with rhinestone buttons. The nightgown is a sleeveless style with double straps and a very sweet powder pink nylon lining that adds a lovely bit of color through the white. Perfectly feminine, a set fit for a princess!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
