Vintage 1950's Peignoir Set | Pale Yellow Nylon Chiffon with Beading & Rhinestone Buttons | Vanity Fair | Size S, M

Out of Stock

This 1950s peignoir set by Vanity Fair is made of silky, pale yellow nylon chiffon. Beautifully adorned with clear glass seed beads creating a lovely diamond net-like texture along the bodice. The peignoir is double lined with rhinestone buttons and a sassy pussy bow at the neck for closure. Full and fluffy, with bracelet cuffed sleeves with bead work. The nightgown has a fabulous gathered bust and double straps, with a full ballerina skirt falling below the knee to about mid-shin. Artfully designed, with tacked spots in the skirt to additional folds and fluff, as well as graceful movement. This stunning set would be excellent for any pinup lingerie collection. Very feminine and very flattering!

CONDITION - Very good to excellent: no holes, or rips. The peignoir is missing a button right at the top of the neck which is not noticed under the bow, but could easily be replaced. The right sleeve has lost some beads on the inner side of the cuff, does not easily show due to it being on the inner facing portion. The nightgown has a very small blue spot in the inner lining under the chiffon on the skirt.
