This 1950s peignoir set made of ecru lace and nylon chiffon with ribbon detail. The nightgown is a full, classic style with a powder blue, silky nylon lining under a sheer beige chiffon outer layer. Edged in the signature ecru lace that she was known for, and a lovely blue ribbon bow above the hem. The stunning lace covered taffeta peignoir is very feminine with short layered lace sleeves and a wide open, baby-doll style skirt. A light blue ribbon is woven in along the neckline to match the nightgown, another signature feature of the brand. Button snap closure is discreet, and creates a lovely draped, bountiful lace covered silhouette. This is a perfect git for the bride or extra special lingerie set for a vintage collector.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
