This vintage 1950s nightgown by Barbizon was made from light, silky sky blue rayon-blend fabric that is buttery soft against the skin. Absolutely darling, with a low scoop neckline edged entirely in white ruffled lace. The bodice features little white embroidered stars, with lace strip inserts across the waist to offer a lovely and incredibly feminine look. Sewn in satin ribbon ties to cinch the waist for a perfect fit, with a wide skirt falling below the knee for a modestly sweet pinup style silhouette. A very flirty, classic style that is perfect for the rockabella boudoir.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
