This 1950s nightgown by Godfried is a great choice for those that love a good Grecian style gown. Made of incredibly sheer, rich pale green nylon chiffon with pink, yellow, blue and green little squares dancing throughout the gown giving a very sweet little element of fun. A square neck outlined in gorgeous embroidered white chiffon that grazes the tops of the shoulders. Very flattering with a gathered bust and loose fit, completely adjustable in the waist and chest with woven green satin ribbon ties. A loose skirt falls to the ankle, and is wide enough to add a beautiful shape without taking away too much drape. A very unique lingerie piece that can certainly be worn as a dress with the right slip underneath!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
