This vintage 1950s nightgown and peignoir set by Carter's was made from a sheer white nylon chiffon with an enchanting gold foil star print throughout. The nightgown is fitted through the waist with a sexy keyhole neckline. Gathered detail between two rows of piping adds a gorgeous texture that complements the otherwise sleek design. An elasticized back that provides a very comfortable fit, with attached ties that allow you to cinch the waist to your liking. The robe features a loose shoulder with very wide tapered sleeves that cinch at the opening providing a princess like allure. The robe is completely open, closing at the neck with double ties. Such a magically lovely set!

Condition: hand washed and steamed with no holes, stains, or rips. Some very minor pulls consistent with age, and two 1/2 inch slits at the sides of the robe for a waist tie but there is no tie present.
