This vintage 1950s peignoir and nightgown set by Rogers is an absolute dream. Made from an icy blue nylon chiffon that comes to life under the black overlay. The gown features a flattering sweetheart neckline and gathered bust with a knotted center. Beautiful lace adorns the V waistline with a black micro mesh that covers the long A line skirt. The sweetest babydoll peignoir accompanies the gown with a complementary lace overlay. Fitted over the chest with a little button that close right under the neck, with puffed sleeves that cinch with a pronged glass bead adornment. The robe falls several inches longer in the back for a cascade effect allowing the gown beneath to shine. Such a magnificent set!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
