This vintage 1950's hostess gown was made from bright sky blue acetate satin that is heavy in weight and beautifully tailored. Cut and stitched to accentuate the figure, with a darted bust and fitted waist. Short sleeves with ruched detail to provide bountiful folds, with a deep V cut neckline and a wired high stand up collar that gives an elegant touch. This stunning gown falls to the floor with a longer hem on the sides, with a whopping 156" sweep that makes this dress incredibly enchanting to wear.

Excellent: no holes, rips, or stains. There are a few scuffs and water spots from steaming. A faint lilac patina at the underarms.
