Vintage 1950's Halter Slip Dress - Black Taffeta with Piping Detail - Size XS

Vintage 1950s halter style slip dress made from a light weight rayon taffeta material. Absolutely darling, with a bias tailored bust and low V cut neckline adorned with black piping embroidery. Slim fitting through the waist. with a wide skirt that offers body and fullness to your outerwear. Side zip closure and adjustable eye-hooks at the neck for ease of wear. A very unique little undergarment that can easily be worn as a dress.

CONDITION

Excellent: Hand washed and steamed without any holes, rips, or stains. Looks to have been taken in at the center back. I did not release the stitches out of fear of leaving tiny holes in the garment. If you chose to release the center back stitches, the size would extend to 34 bust and 27-8 waist.
