This late 1940s to early 1950s girdle by Chic Mode is made of a lightweight, rose gold rayon fabric with high sheen stretchy panels at the sides. This girdle sits at the waist and extends to the tops of the thighs, with 4 trolley garters to hold up your stockings. The elastic is tight and there are 4 wide stays to offer support, and a chic and smooth rear panel to smooth the derriere. A lovley lingerie piece that is comfortable for everyday wear!

CONDITION - Very good to excellent: no holes or rips. All elastic and metal hardware in excellent condition. There is a light grey dust stain that is from storage on the front-left side, but will likely lift with a good soak. I have not washed this girdle as it still retains its original store tag.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
