This vintage 1950s slip is made from sheer and light, palest pink nylon with gorgeous lace detail along the upper bodice and hemline. A perfect foundation lingerie piece to wear under your day wear, with a built in monowire bust and darted bullet cups. Non-adjustable padded satin straps and a center velvet patch lining allow for a comfortable wear. Pinstripe stitching and a tailored waist to provide a flattering fit. A loose skirt falls below the knee with double button and hidden zip closure in the center back. A very unique lingerie basic that could easily transform into a sweet and flirty little summer dress!

CONDITION :
Very good: No holes or rips, completely structurally sound. There are two areas where there are some faint bluish marks. One patch over the wire on the inner lining, and a few areas where the nylon has pulls or thinning as shown. This slip was previously shortened and then released and I cannot for the life of me press the folds out with either an iron or commercial steamer. A few areas in the bodice with missing stitches in the pin-striping.
