This vintage 1950s slip by Gilead is made from silky black satin and a smooth rayon blend. Half bustier half slip, the bodice is sculpts the bosom and the tummy with 4 flexible stays and firm paneling. Strapless with the iconic cathedral bra cups, with darling ruffled lace across edging and a lace overlay down the center. Stopping at the natural waist, with a silky, slinky rayon blend skirt that falls below the knee with a lace hemline for extra flair. Eye-hook closure hidden under a center zipper makes this little lingerie piece very easy to wear. A very special piece, known for pioneering the 'no drooping' bra top slips we see today! Perfect for wearing alone as a sexy dress or under your favorite outer wear as a foundation piece.
