Vintage 1940’s-1950's Dressing Gown - Princess Pink Rayon Satin with Rhinestone Belt | S, M

This vintage late 1940’s to early 1950s dressing gown was made from a luxurious princess pink rayon satin that glistens beautifully due to the high luster. Perfectly designed with wide bell shaped sleeves that fall to the elbow and a fitted bodice adorned with ruffles down the center. A nipped waist comes to life with a fluttery peplum that circles around the hips and an attached belt that closes with a rhinestone clasp. Ankle length with a smooth and sleek skirt that is slightly longer at the sides to create a little extra drama. This robe is easy to wear with a long zipper that closes the piece down the center. Such a gorgeous and incredibly glamorous piece that reminds me of something you'd see in the boudoir of ms. Marilyn Monroe!

Condition:Hand washed and steamed with no stains. There were several 'slits' that were patched from the underside with satin and fusing tape (outer layer shown in last photo grid) one small one on the shoulder was not mended because the sleeves are lined and I was unable to get to the underside of the outer layer. Some wear to the satin.
