This exquisite 1950s dress is made of intricate black floral Alençon lace, with a wide black velvet sewn in bow along the bodice. Very sexy and slim fitting, with slight gathering under the bust and cap sleeves covering the tops of the shoulders. This wiggle dress is fitted through the hip and falls below the knee with a gorgeous triple pleated scalloped hem. Zipper closure with a top eye-hook and low back, with a center slit to give a fully flattering silhouette from the back as well as the front. This stunning little number is a great choice for a cocktail hour!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
