This vintage 1950s to early 1960s peignoir and nightgown set by Radcliffe is made from a sweet powder pink nylon chiffon with a decadent black overlay. The gown features lovely lace over the chest with a ruffle around the neckline. Very flattering, with a gathered bust and fitted lace waist panel. A midi length A line skirt flares at the ruffled hem for a darling babydoll look. The robe features a dropped shoulder and wide puffed sleeves that fall just above the elbow. A fluffy open fit, with button closure at the neck and very long velvet ribbons that tie in a bow for added decor. An absolutely darling set perfect for the pinup boudoir.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
