Vintage 1950s to 1960s nightgown and peignoir set by Carters made from a buttercream white nylon material. Both pieces offer a stunning allure with intricate floral embroidery adorning the bodice. The Robe is made from a soft sheer tulle with lots of body in the double lined puff sleeves. Sleek across the chest with a high ruffled collar, closing at the neck with a bow and eye-hooks. The gown features a deep V cut with a sleek skirt falling to the ankle, hemmed with a wide tulle embroidered edge. Ethereal and enchanting, a very flattering set!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
