This vintage late 1950s to early 1960s babydoll nightgown by Gotham was made from a silky white nylon with a sheer chiffon overlay. An absolutely classic style, with a gathered bust, nipped waist, and dramatic A line skirt that falls below the knee. Baby blue chiffon piping used to make the straps, accompanying tie, and adorable soutache adornment across the chest. A delicate lace edge under a row of complementary blue chiffon piping brings the whole gown together while adding a sweetly feminine touch. Such a doll of a gown!

Condition: Has been hand washed and steamed. Fabric is very strong and retains stretch. No holes, rips, or stains. Some pulls in the chiffon consistent with age.
