This 1940s is made of a double lined taffeta fabric with a full sequined bodice. The bodice is boned for structure and is completely adorned in sparkly black sequins. The bust is completely supported with molded cups and extra panels of sequins for any future repairs. The skirt flares from the waist for a huge, open flared fit of the era. 3 sequin covered buttons under the waist that are there purely for decoration giving the illusion of an open front. Large pockets for added flair. This gown has a side-zip closure with an eye hook at the top of the zipper. You won't find something like this again! Very 'va-va-voom' and is a must have for the vintage collector.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
