Vintage 1940s bralette and panty lingerie set famously known as being a WWII novelty souvenir gift that the army gentlemen would send their ladies. This set was made from a silky rayon saying with floral damask pattern, in an aged ivory color. The top closes at the side with little pearl buttons, with the panty sitting high with an elasticized waist. The phrases 'Don't Touch!", "Sweet, Sour", and "Gone with the Wind" printed in blue ink for a flirty and playful allure. Highly collectible set!

CONDITION :
Good-Very Good: Gently washed in an effort to not dull the print. No holes or rips. Color is a bit yellowed from age with some age spotting. Elastic band on top needs to be changed if intended for wear, waist of panty is very stretchy and was probably replaced. Lace edge along bustline nearly worn away.
DISCLAIMER: I did not repair elastic band for collector's purposes, as some collectors prefer items to be unaltered in any way. If you would like to wear the set, send me a message and I will repair the elastic for you. Age spots and patina will probably lighten if not disappear with more vigorous cleaning. I did not want to risk damaging the print so did a gentle soak in cold water.
