This vintage 1940's slip by Tru-Form has never been worn and still retains its original tag. Made of a rich blush pink rayon material, with a bias cut that flatters the figure beautifully. Adjustable straps with a darling silk ribbon woven through intricate lace along the neckline adds a nice bit of decor to a staple piece of lingerie. Slim through the waist and upper hip, with an A-line skirt falling below the knee. A lovely little slip!

CONDITION :
Very good - excellent - Never worn with original tags, no holes or rips. Slip was soaked and steamed. There is a small bit of paint chipping on one of the strap sliders. Two spots on the skirt where it looks like a different color of thread got into the weave, but I am not for sure.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
