This 1940s slip is a mysterious beauty that is silky soft and beautifully flattering. Made of silky, dark inky black rayon material with a high sheen which creates the most gorgeous highlights and folds. With a bias cut bodice made of sheer ruched tulle edged in lace and having adjustable straps for comfort. This sexy slip is lightly fitted through the upper hip with a skirt falling below the knee, hemmed in lace. A low back and slinky fit, flattering the derriere due to the silky drape of the fabric. A stunning lingerie basic that is almost too sultry to be worn merely as a foundation piece!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
