This vintage 1940s shelf bra by Petite Paris is an exceedingly rare style. Made from silky creamy white rayon satin with a stunning floral lace chiffon panel that cradles the underside of the breast. Very sexy, with thin white straps that 'cage' the bosom with ribbon adornments on the under chiffon layer. A thin yet durable band reaches around the ribcage with an elastic button snap closure. Thin ribbon straps with stretchy elastic give a comfortable fit across the shoulders without stress. A perfect collector's piece that is more than suitable for wear!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
