Vintage 1940's Sheer Sky Blue Rayon Chiffon Nightgown with Ladder Stitch Pattern, size S, M

This vintage 1940s nightgown was made from a very sheer sky blue rayon chiffon material with a gorgeous decorative ladder stitch pattern that wraps diagonally around the piece which helps to elongate the figure. Bias cut with a deep V cut neckline beautifully framed in an intricate cotton lace. This gown hugs the curves gently through the upper hip, tapering into a flowy ankle length hem. A very unique piece that leaves little to the imagination in the most elegant of ways.
