This vintage 1940s maxi dress by Glen-Joan was made from a sheer periwinkle blue rayon chiffon material. An absolutely stunning silver cotton floral lace panel wraps around the right side of the gown which accentuates the curves. Sparkling rhinestones adorn the centers of every single large flower in the lace, making this gown truly glisten when worn. A draped bias cut and incredibly long, very wide skirt that pools at the feet create bountiful folds and an elegant allure. This lovely gown slips on overhead, closing at the side with a hidden metal zipper. A truly special gown that is perfect for holiday parties and formal events.

Excellent: Looks to have been very rarely worn. Lace is very strurdy without holes, no missing rhinestones. A couple very small holes on the lower side of the skirt and a couple of faint grayish marks. Gown presents beautifully.
