This vintage 1940s shirtwaist dress was made from a semi sheer deep navy blue rayon material, featuring the sweetest white daisy print throughout. Bias cut with darted shoulders supported by half moon pads to retain shape, with tailored stitching in the bodice to create a flattering fit. An easy to wear open fit with plastic button closure down the center. This darling little ditty is sleek and very feminine, softly hugging the waist and upper hip without restriction. Two shirred pockets at both sides of the hip to hold little trinkets, and attached belt loops to allow for a cinched waist. This midi length dress is perfect for daily wear, or can easily be dressed up for more formal occasions.

Condition:
Very good: Hand washed and steamed. Structurally sound for wear with no significant flaws. A seam repair was done at the left underarm. A bit of ring around the collar at the back of the neck, not visible when worn. One small area where there is very slight color bleeding. Area on the upper back of the right shoulder where there are 3 small holes.
