This vintage 1940s nightgown by Eastern Isle was made from a sheer black rayon chiffon material that leaves little to the imagination. Bias cut with a cotton lace shoulder that cinches closed at the neck with a drawstring tie, making it perfectly suitable to wear slightly off-shoulder, boat neck, or a tighter for a more rounded neckline. Bias cut with a sleek and slinky figure skimming fit. This stunner falls to the ankle with a ruffled cotton hem with a sheer baby blue chiffon lining that gives a Flamenco style allure du e to the added body. A truly mesmerizing gown.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
