This 1940s robe by Barbara Lee Jr. is perfectly sophisticated with a dash of fun! Made of soft bright red wool that is not too heavy, yet heavy enough to keep you cozy and warm. With light cream piping and yellow threaded stitches, this beautiful robe is simple but certainly not boring. Very flattering, with a slim, tailored fit and shoulder pads to give the classic darted look of the era. One large pocket on the right hip to hold your trinkets and a long cream tasseled sash tie to cinch the waist. This stylish little darling has an inner tie for closure without shifting, and a long straight skirt which falls just above or at the ankle. A very classy and bold robe that is excellent for any season!

CONDITION - Excellent: no holes, stains or rips. There were 3 small holes that were darned, these mends are invisible, but you can feel where the mends are because the threads are a bit 'tighter'. Photos are available upon request!
