Vintage 1940s robe made of a semi-sheer pale sky blue silk chiffon that feels absolutely heavenly against the skin. A true beauty, with a high lace collar, closing with two fabric buttons that hide under a faux tie. Long loose sleeves with a gathered shoulder, closing at the wrist with fabric-covered buttons and a folded lace cuff. Open in the front and closing at the waist with a very long sash tie, with a loose cape-like back that gives an amazing flow to the wearer. Floor-length with a gorgeous drape, incredibly elegant yet still very sweet!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
