This 1940s robe by Taylor Mode was made from a decadent floral rayon lace material in a shimmery hue that reminds me of gold dust. This robe that has a nice stretch to accentuate and flatter the figure. Very sleek with padded shoulder that provide the iconic darted look of the era, with tapered ruffle cuffed sleeves and gathered detail at the upper shoulder that creates a lovely bit of texture. A deep V cut neckline edged in ruffled lace, this wrap style robe closes at the side of the waist with an attached sash tie. A long hem falls a few inches above the ankle to add an elegant touch. A true lovely robe.

Condition:
Excellent: Hand washed and steamed. Lace retains a great amount of stretch, no stains or rips. I have repaired a few breaks to the lace, only one is visible in the center back where the knot is slightly darker than the lace. Shoulder pads are still plush.
