Vintage 1940s robe made from a heavier weight silky lilac purple rayon satin. Sleek and fitted with half moon padded shoulders that offer the iconic 40s silhouette. This stunner features weighted trapunto quilt stitching at the collar, sleeve cuffs, and silk lined padded hem which gives this robe a truly glamorous allure, with a heart shaped pocket on the side which adds a very sweet touch. Ankle length with eye-hook closure at the waist and a hidden inner tie to keep the robe from shifting. A very long sash tie cinches the waist to your liking. A very unique vintage piece!

CONDITION
Very good-excellent: Hand washed and steamed with no holes or rips. There is some fading and brownish patina at the collar and cuffs in some places (as pictured) and a few scuffs. Belt has some brown spots from age as well. A few seam repairs that are not visible; mentioned for transparency.
