This 1940s nightgown is a very unique lingerie piece, perfect for any vintage or modern boudoir collection. Made of a very light and sheer rayon chiffon fabric that leaves very little to the imagination. Deep black with a gorgeous diagonal stitch pattern that exposes your skin and flatters the figure. Sleeveless with a ruched, ruffled yoke that covers the very tops of the shoulders, with a bias cut bodice traced in wide cotton lace. This stunner is floor length with a natural stretch that drapes beautifully, with a hem that falls below the ankles and slightly flutters for even more drama. A very low V cut back that gives more to the eye from behind. A truly special gown that will be hard to take off!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
