Vintage 1940s nightgown by Bennington made from a very sheer black rayon chiffon material. Bias cut with lovely cotton lace inserts that adorn the bodice and center front 'kick slit' of the hem. This gown has a low cut neck and back, with a single elastic thread at the lower back that cinches the waist. A very sexy and elegant gown.

CONDITION
Very good: Hand washed and steamed without any significant holes, rips, or tears. Elastic is a bit more stretched at one side near the waist; could be removed if it causes any bother. There was another row of elastic that was removed because of loose threads and a side seam repair; not noticeable but mentioned for transparency.
