Vintage 1940s nightgown by Betty Lou Lingerie, made of a silky rose gold pink rayon satin that feels heavenly against the skin. Bias cut with lovely ruffled cotton lace tracing the neckline and front waist. Ruched detail at the under-bust with an open center chest that laces up (or down) tying in a bow. A low-cut back flatters the figure nicely, with a body-hugging fit through the waist and upper hip. Attached ties cinch the waist to your liking, this stunning gown falls to the ankle with a lightly fluted hem. Elegance at its finest!

CONDITION :

Very good: Hand washed and steamed without any stains or rips. There are several very small holes as pictured but don't distract from the beauty (in my opinion).

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
