Vintage 1940s nightgown and peignoir set by Wonder Maid made from silky baby blue rayon. The robe is made from a sheer chiffon, while the nightgown is an opaque 'cold' rayon. Both pieces are beautifully accented with cream cotton lace that provides a gorgeous contrast. The robe has long wide sleeves that close at the wrist with button snaps, and button at the waist with an open skirt. The gown is sleek and fitted with wide sheer straps that flatter the chest. Absolutely darling!

CONDITION
Very good: Hand washed and steamed without any stains other than 3 marks on the lace at the waist of the robe. There are a few small holes on the robe and stitch marks at the side seams from where the robe was altered and then released, not noticeable and hide well in the folds. The straps on the gown appear to have been shortened but not drastically.
