Vintage 1940s nightgown by Forty Winks was made from a silky pale pastel yellow rayon chiffon fabric with a high sheen. Gathered bone-white chiffon across the bodice with rows of ruffled lace for a beautiful and very feminine allure. A center slit up the back gives a nice glimpse of skin, with a bias cut and curve-hugging drape to accentuate the figure. This slinky little gown falls to the ankle with a slightly fluted hem and doubles as a stunning garden party gown with the right underpinnings.

CONDITION :
Very good: Hand washed and steamed with no holes, rips, or stains. There is one itty bitty mend to reattach the chiffon to the satin on the bodice which hides in the folds. Sadly there is significant 'denting' to the fabric at the hips and lower skirt.
