Vintage 1940s nightgown made from the palest of pale pink rayon satin material. Bias cut with a stunning drape, this gown features tapered lace straps and intricate lace inserts that frame the deep V cut neckline. Slinky and very flattering, with a diamond insert at the waist that elongates the figure. A very low cut open back and attached ties to cinch the waist, with a floor length fluted hem skirt that adds drama and elegance.

CONDITION
Fair-good: Has been hand washed and steamed. Structurally sound for wear, but the gown has many dents and thin spots to the fabric. A couple of small holes and wear at the hem (likely from trailing along the floor). One mark on the underside of the right bust and some tiny red paint (assumed) splatter at the hem on the back. My apologies for the crammed last photo grid; please also zoom into full length photos to get a good idea of condition. Still a gorgeous gown!
