This vintage 1940's nightgown by D'Amato was made from an ultra silky pale powder pink rayon satin fabric with a high luster. A faux off shoulder, with an embroidered scalloped neckline edged in ivory floral lace giving a very elegant touch. Slim fit to flatter and accentuate the figure with two lace flower inserts adorning the chest and side hip. This amazing gown falls to the floor with a lightly fluted hem. Decadent and unique, the perfect one of a kind addition to any lingerie collection and would make an exceptional evening gown with the right foundations.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
